Silvia M. Guardado
Silvia is passionate about helping individuals and small business owners to overcome bookkeeping challenges. With over 18 years of experience in bookkeeping and taxation services, she has worked with a wide range of industries and is well versed in best bookkeeping practices.
Silvia began as bookkeeper and tax preparer at a CPA firm. She then worked in a full charge bookkeeping and office management role while she simultaneously worked as an independent service provider with several CPAs in the Los Angeles and Inland Empire areas. Silvia keeps abreast of Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board, other regulatory agencies, as well as applicable field technology. Furthermore, she maintains a keen eye for researching, addressing and resolving claims with the Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board, State Board of Equalization, Employment Development Department, and Workers Compensation agencies.
Silvia is known for her innate passion to serve her community. Previously, she served as Treasurer on the founding board of directors for the National Latina Business Women Association-Inland Empire. She is a member of the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce and her local Toastmasters club. She possesses a long-standing record of over 25 years volunteering with several organizations, including the Worldwide Marriage Encounter San Gabriel Valley, St. Louis of France Catholic Church, Los Angeles Cursillos of Christianity Movement and St. Peter, St. Paul Catholic Church. She has always been compelled to contribute toward making a difference in the lives of others as she has been the recipient of love, kindness and the generosity of others. Thus, she has taken on a “pay it forward” approach as she continues working with her community.
In addition to community participation and volunteer work, Silvia enjoys spending time with her family as well as reading and hiking.
