Organization, made easy

Updated: Sep 20, 2021

It's Friday again already! Wow, time flies so fast! 🤦🏽⌚️We hope you had a nice and productive week. Short weeks like this one with the Labor Day holiday often feel stressful. This has us thinking about how important it is to stay organized. An organizational system can save you lots of time and stress by keeping what you need in order and accessible. Here are a few tools we've found helpful that can make organizing very easy. What's best is that they're all FREE! (Read plans carefully for free and paid tiers).

  • Automated Scheduling, such as Calendly. Make it easy for your clients to know when you're available, saving you time from going back and forth figuring out a time that works for everyone.

  • Document Management, such as Google Docs and DropBox. Organize your documents on the cloud and give your staff and clients access to shared documents.

  • Social Media Management, such as Planoly, Later, and Buffer. Schedule your social media posts to free you from having to be at your desk at the time your social media posts go live. Learn what time works best for your audience and schedule at the time that works best for you.

  • Bookkeeping system, such as Quickbooks. It is very important to maintain an organized digital system to track your business' income and expenses. Having this system in place makes tax time and regular reporting a breeze. We understand that this can be a huge undertaking, which is why we offer direct support in this area. Contact us to find out more about our Bookkeeping, Tax, and Cash Flow Management services.

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, such as Mailchimp and MailerLite. Keep your email list in one place, create campaigns and templates, and access analytics to improve your reach.

  • Website design, such as Wix and Squarespace. Create a beautiful website that is tailored to your business and client base, plus access analytics to improve your SEO. Stay on top of your target market and organize your e-commerce offerings. Keep in mind that these software options are usually free to build and design, paid to publish your site.

  • Project Management Software, such as Asana, Notion, and Trello. There are a variety of software options for project management and they all behave a bit differently. Check out these options and choose one that works best for you.

  • Document design for social media and other digital documents, such as Canva. Not sure how to liven up your social media posts? Get ideas to quickly and easily create posts that are beautifully designed and to the right specifications for each platform.

These are all tools that we've tried and found useful. We do not receive any commission from recommending these to you. We hope that some of these tools make your entrepreneurial life a bit easier. Sometimes the biggest gain in productive energy will come from cleaning the cobwebs, dealing with old business, and clearing the desks—cutting loose debris that's impeding forward motion.
